Uplift through skill, partnership, and purpose.

Digital Uplift Project was founded on a simple belief: that access to digital tools and business knowledge should not be a privilege. We exist to close that gap — through collaboration, education, and community.

“Skill and partnership development to assist students, small businesses, start-ups, marginalized groups and older adults with affordable digital solutions and community-centred programs – through collaboration, empowerment and a genuine commitment to leaving no one behind.”

A collaborative force for digital equity.

Shared Mission

Digital literacy belongs to everyone

Digital Uplift Project was born from a simple act of love. A grandson sitting beside his grandparents, teaching them to video call family, navigate government services and stay safe online. What began as a family moment became a question that wouldn’t go away: how many other seniors across the GTA are going through this alone?

That question is what built our Digital Bridges senior program — and this organization. Our founder grew up between Mississauga and Scarborough — shaped by the wisdom of his grandparents and the community he found at the ACE Foundation, where he was a student and where he still belongs. When he saw the gap between the digital world seniors needed to navigate and the support available to help them, he decided to do something about it. Digital Uplift Project is the result. Built from lived experience. Driven by the belief that technology should connect people — not leave them behind.

But Digital Bridges is just one part of what Digital Uplift Project is built to do. Across our programs, we serve students stepping into the workforce, small businesses and start-ups finding their footing in a digital economy and marginalized groups who deserve the same access to tools, skills and opportunities as everyone else. Whether it’s building a digital identity, developing technical skills, launching a business or navigating a new career path — we show up for the communities that need it most, with programs designed to meet real needs and deliver real results.

Same belief behind all of it: that digital skills belong to everyone. Regardless of age, background or where you’re starting from.

Students

Post-secondary and emerging learners gaining real-world digital skills, portfolio experience, and career-ready capabilities through capstone projects and mentorship.

Entrepreneurs and local business owners who need affordable branding, web presence, and digital strategy to compete and grow.

Older adults who deserve to navigate the digital world with confidence, independence and dignity. We meet seniors where they are — with patience, community and programs built around the tools that matter most in their daily lives.

Early-stage ventures looking for collaborative support in building their digital identity, online presence, and go-to-market foundation.

Individuals and communities facing systemic barriers — including racialized groups, low-income households, and justice-impacted youth — who deserve equitable access to digital opportunity.

What guides everything we do.

Empowerment

We believe every person deserves the tools, knowledge, and network to build a thriving digital presence and sustainable future.

Collaboration

Progress happens through partnership. We work alongside organizations, educators, and community leaders to multiply our impact.

Skill Development

Practical, hands-on learning that translates directly into real-world capability — for students, entrepreneurs, and communities alike.

Equality

We prioritize marginalized groups, underserved communities, seniors and those who face systemic barriers to digital and economic access.

Affordability

Quality digital solutions and business support should not be out of reach. We make professional-grade services accessible to all.

Community

Our work is rooted in community — listening, learning, and growing together with the people and organizations we serve.
